Gardening service in Ajijic and Lake Chapala
Regular garden maintenance that keeps your Lakeside garden alive through April and tidy through the rains, whether you are here or not. A gardener we supervise, a schedule you set, and photos after every visit.
A Lakeside garden has two seasons
From November to May almost no rain falls. Bougainvillea and jacaranda love it; lawns, hedges and pots do not. Without watering on a schedule, a garden left alone in April is brown by May. From June to October the opposite happens: everything grows a hand a week, drains clog with leaves, and weeds take over a patio in a fortnight.
Our gardening service follows that calendar. In the dry season the focus is watering, irrigation timers and shade; in the rains it is pruning, clearing and keeping drains and channels open. Fertilizing, pest treatment and replanting are planned around it.
The gardener is someone we work with regularly, and one of us checks the results. If you are away, the garden is part of the home watch photo report; if you live here, you get a message with photos after each visit and a heads-up when something needs a decision.
How it works
Walk-through
We see the garden with you or on video, note the plants, the irrigation and what you want it to look like.
Schedule and quote
Weekly, every two weeks or monthly. Fixed monthly price on WhatsApp.
Visits
The gardener comes on the agreed day; we check the results and send photos.
Seasonal plan
Before the dry season and before the rains we tell you what the garden needs and quote any extra work.

Frequently asked questions
Can you take over from my current gardener?
Yes. Or supervise the one you already have: we confirm the visits happen, check the results and send you photos.
Do you also do pool maintenance?
We coordinate and supervise a pool service, and we check the pool on every home watch visit. Ask us and we set it up together with the garden.
What if the irrigation system breaks?
We tell you the same day with photos, get a quote from a plumber or irrigation technician we trust, and supervise the repair.
Is gardening included in the monthly home watch plans?
The Standard and Premium plans include a garden check on every visit and, in Premium, gardener coordination. The gardening itself is quoted separately based on the size of the garden.
