The climate does most of the damage. From June to October the rains arrive almost every afternoon, and a small roof leak or a clogged drain turns into stained ceilings and mold in a few weeks. In the dry months the garden and pool need water and the house needs air. Scorpions, ants and the occasional gecko find their way into any home that stays shut.

Twice a month is the minimum we recommend in the dry season. During the rains, from June to October, weekly visits let us catch leaks before they become stains and mold.
Do you work in the gated communities around Ajijic?
Yes. We are used to registering with the guard booth in La Floresta, Villa Nova, Rancho del Oro and the other fraccionamientos. Tell us the procedure once and we handle it from then on.
